The Mavericks were founded in 1989 in Miami Florida. Since cover tunes were all that was wanted in country type clubs, the Mavericks started playing in rock clubs and writing their own material.

In 1991, their debut album, The Mavericks, was released. Raul Malo, lead vocalist and guitarist, wrote all the material for this first recorded album. “This Broken Heart”, was the only single released from this album, and sadly, it never made the charts. Finding individual pictures of the country band The Mavericks can be pretty easy when using something like an image search engine. The downside of using that however is you’re going to get way more pictures than you wanted, most of them not even being related to The Mavericks since image searching is pretty vague for the most part. For example, if you were to search The Mavericks, you would more likely than not just end up looking at a bunch of horses! If you were to just do a regular search, (more…)
